Master Alijan Alijanpour Iranian-Canadian Artist born in 1956, in FereydunKenar, Iran. He has been In the field of Persian Classic Painting “Miniature” since 1969. He Accomplished many unique master pieces that were exhibited and held by museums and dominant art galleries such as ” Mother ” ,”Lonely Taming” , ” who knows what we feel” and etc. In 1993 he was awarded the prestigious Rank 1 Certificate in Art by the Iranian Ministry of Culture, and was awarded the title of “Master in Visual Arts”. He immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2000 and continued his creation and activities in Persian Miniature. He founded Irena Art school in Toronto in 2000 and has been leading the institution and teaching as the primary art master.

Persian born concert pianist, improvisor, interdisciplinary composer, artist-researcher and educator, Anoush Moazzeni enjoys a performing career that has, frequently, taken her around the world. Highlights of recent seasons have included visits to Americas, Europe, Southern Asia & Middle East. ⚪ - Azadeh Pirazimian


Toronto-based Multidisciplinary Artist. For as long as she can remember, Azadeh has been absolutely fascinated by the different forms of art, either visual arts or drama. While studying Graphic Design in high school in Iran, Azadeh received many awards as an actress,performing in drama festivals. She continued with visual arts and received a B.A. in Painting, followed by an M.A. in Visual Communication after which she started her career as an art lecturer in university for six years. In 2015 Azadeh moved to Canada and participated in a course in Essential Illustration in OCAD University. Later in 2016 she joined the Mural Career Development Certificate Program and worked with Mural Routes Organisation as part of their creative mural team. In 2017 Azadeh joined the Canadian Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CCLCS) as an student to gain drama experience in English while working as a visual arts instructor in the RosettaSchool Of Visual Art.

⚪ - Fariborz Lachini


Fariborz Lachini has been creating music for over three decades. While in his twenties, Lachini had already achieved success in the world of pop music, writing for some of today's Persian pop icons as well as music for children. After the revolution, Lachini moved to France to study music and computers. Living in Europe and studying at Universite de Paris - Sorbonne added a European flavor to Lachini’s music and influenced his style to become a distinctive and beautiful fusion of contemporary Persian and European styles. He also mastered the technology to create exotic sampled Middle Eastern instruments, immediately putting him in a unique position when he entered the world of film music back in his home country. ⚪ - Ghazaleh Avarzamani


Ghazaleh Avarzamani (b. 1980, Tehran) is an artist currently based in Toronto. She was trained in painting at Azad Art University, Tehran and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins, London. Recent solo exhibitions have been presented at the Koffler Gallery, Toronto (2019); Ab-Anbar Gallery, Tehran (2016); Asia House, London (2014); and Light Gallery, London (2013). Recent group exhibitions include Bocconi Art Gallery, Milan (2018); Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium Museum, Norway (2018); and Project Gallery, Toronto (2016), among others. Avarzamani has participated in various international residencies including SOMA, Mexico City (2018); Via Firini, Milan (2018); and is the recipient of the Red Mansion Prize (2013).

⚪ - Gita Hashemi


Blurring the boundaries of artistic practices through constant experimentation, Toronto-based Gita Hashemi works in installation, performance, video, internet art and image-text, as well as curating and writing about culture and art. Hashemi’s work is centered on marginalized histories and contemporary politics, often with an eye on women’s experience. ⚪ - Mahdieh Vali-Zadeh


Mahdieh Vali-Zadeh was born in Tehran/Iran and raised in Amol, a sylvan and mountainous area in the Northern part of the country. Having grown up both next to the sea and in close proximity to a very sublime mountain range, her love of nature meditation grew tremendously, the effect of which was a fascination for spiritual and contemplative experiences. As another major influence, Persian mystic poetry captivated her since childhood when she started practicing calligraphy at the age of 10 intertwined with poetry.

⚪ - Maryam Hafizirad


Maryam Hafizirad is an Iranian painter, from Isfahan, Iran who is Deaf. A permanent resident of Canada, Maryam graduated from Isfahan University of Fine Arts in 2002. Maryam’s first exhibition was in Iran at the age of 18. Since then her award winning works has been shown individually and as part of the artistic group “Farda”, meaning “Tomorrow”, in major cities of Iran, China, Germany, Malaysia and India. Following her heart’s desire and performing from a place of strength as a Deaf artist, Maryam is a full-time visual artist today. Maryam Pazooki is an Iranian born multidisciplinary visual artist who currently resides in Toronto. She works with mixed media and plein air painting and is inspired by active space in nature. Her paintings have been exhibited worldwide. Maryam has an MFA in Nihonga (Japanese style painting) from Tsukuba University in Japan, a diploma in Art and Design from Sureh University in Tehran, and a BA in Education from Kharazmi University in Iran. She has developed and taught courses in drawing, painting, culture, and batik in Canada, Japan, and Iran.

Parham Didehvar is an award-winning photographer, and graphic designer based in Toronto. Iranian-born, Canadian actor, singer Ramin is recognized as the favorite leading man to perform in London's West End Musical Theatre by whatsonstage.com. Ramin has played starring roles in both of the West End's longest running musicals; Jean Valjean, Enjolras and Marius in Les Misérables and the Phantom and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera. ⚪ - Shabnam Afrand​


Shabnam Afrand​ is Iranian-Canadian multi-disciplinary visual artist and educator born and raised in Tehran. Shabnam’s body of work reflects her life and creates an ambiance of longing and memory by choosing the objects and forms in her practices. She obtained her Master of Fine Arts degree from Azad University with honored in 2001, with a thesis that examined the interpretation of women in art history. She taught in the faculty of Fine Arts of Azad University from 2003 to 2010 and has been a member of the Iranian Painters Society since 2003. She moved to Canada in 2013 and is a member of Iranian-Canadian Visual Artist Association.

⚪ - Soheila K. Esfahani


Soheila K. Esfahani grew up in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Canada in 1992. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and her BA in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo. She is an award-winning visual artist and recipient of numerous grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund. She is a recipient of 2016 Waterloo Region Arts Awards (Visual Arts category) and was nominated for the Jameel Prize at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, UK in 2015. Her work has been exhibited across Canada from Vancouver to Halifax and collected by various public and private institutions, including the Canada Council’s Art Bank.
